I knew that when I made my post. The snow finally reached us. Some areas got as much as 8 mm of snow, but we didn't get nearly that much.
On the other hand, it landed on my peach and apricot blossoms, not flower pots.
Ed, who ate more strawberries today.
P.S. Do they have peach trees in the Black Hills?

I finally made it out of town and into the Hills. I fished nearly the entire stretch between Placerville and Pactola. Didn't see as many as fish as I'd expected to, I think the drought is taking its toll. Most of the fish I did see were super spooky but I still managed to catch a few smaller ones. The numbers of fish seemed to improve the closer I got to the reservoir. The little black stoneflies are really starting to hatch.
I think the most exciting thing to happen on this venture was I ran into a fella who showed me a picture of a 27" brown he caught the day before, talk about a beast of a fish!
