I just purchased a couple of vintage bamboo travel rods in good condition. I haven't had a chance to fish with them yet but now I guess I better get to it. I'm not sure what line to put on them but the snake guides and tip are rather small.
What kind of line are you using Betty???
-
J,
The line I have on it now, is the Sylk line in a DT. Not too smitten with it, but it was very warm out when I last used it, and I thought the line got real sticky. I'd used a Sylk line before, during the winter fishing, and really liked it, so I figure I'll give it a whirl when the weather cools. I may have a summer line and a winter line out of all this! (can you have too many lines?)

I always maintain a good inventory of fly lines. I'll give that Sylk a try. Heck, I might even catch a fish or two.

Diane, I feel you are being seduced by the darkside! Bambooitis!!
