Hey MIFI'ers ,
I see the calendar has ticked it's way the to start of the 2019 MIFI. Unfortunately , and with heavy heart, I/we will not be able to attend this year. I hope all who do attend have, at least, as good a time as I've experienced in the past. Tight lines and fair weather to all.

Well Marco, as far I know, no one ever showed up, at least for the social. Never saw nor heard from Brad or others. However, we had a pretty good rain storm Monday afternoon into Tuesday morning. Water went down to a decent level during the week. Fishing got much better during the last few days all along the mainstream and branches. We had a healthy HEX hatch in front of my house last night and expect another tonight. Beautiful sight to say the least. We are having a heavy Aluminum hatch, but beautiful day on the river as I write this. Well, more plastic/rubber than Aluminum these days. The latest rage is the paddle board for the young dudes. They will be gone by dusk. That's it from the Ausable. Oh, mosquitoes, haven't seen any:)

John.
Sorry to hear that nobody showed up to maintain the "tradition". It's the "tradition" that should be preserved and also it's always been bunch of fun. Were it not for a few "allofasudden" stuffs I had to complete, my butt would have been there with sparklers .I think I mentioned to you in a pm that I had postponed my rotator cuff surgery so, other than a few minor shoulder pains that are easily sedated with three fingers.........I'm totally OK. It;s still an outside a possibility that "she" and I may take a ride up thataway right after I complete a few things. In any case, I'd let you know so that you could chum the waters a bit.
Stay well, and "hey" to Sylvia.
