Hey, just be glad that you have the thrill of being able to hook up a big one every now and then, many people don't get that chance very often. I enjoy the take, the initial hook up and the first few seconds of the fight, then I get the fish in as soon as I can to get it released. If it comes off after that first run or jump, so be it, I got my thrill and the fish will be around to give someone else the same thrill down the road.

Thanks for all the advice. I am tickled to death to have even set the hook and generally laugh when they go on their merry way. It would be nice to bring one to the net.
