natural Tigers are rare - and a true gem.
Natural Resources up here stock them too - with good success. They're agressive for sure - hearty eaters. Stocked at 8-10 inches, within the end of the 1st year - they're tickling the 18-19 inch mark.
Apparently quite aggressive on the end of your line - put up a worthwhile tussle. We have one Tiger-only lake (I have yet to get there) - and due to it's popularity, the 2nd one is coming up. Tigers have been stocked in with other salmonids, and - aside of the initial fears, so far - all seems to be doing ..... ok.
I've dug around a while back [url=http://mbff.proboards21.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=1093 634603&page=1:56f88]http://mbff.proboards21.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=1093 634603&page=1[/url:56f88]

A local sportsmans club stocks them in their private pond for their kids fishing derby,The pond is not much of a cold water situation. So all trout caught must be killed and consumed they will not allow anyone to keep them alive..for fear that they may end up in a local stream....
They are pretty fish though..
