Gosh, Len, I can't decide if this is great pleasure or pure torment ! It was -30 something again this morning and spring seems sooo far off.

I have a 6 month off season. I make it easier by going ice fishing. School makes it go by a little faster but not much
I have fished in Iowa some over the years.
Their fisheries are not anywhere near the quality as Wisconsin's
I have tried ice fishing with friends.
Ice fishing for them is more drinking than fishing.
I have done some big lakes fishing and tributary fishing.
The water is so huge and lacks the personal feeling of my home water.
There is something magical about the area I fish. It is so beautiful and it has
a calming effect. The small streams are puzzles and I love the feeling of them.
I can see how how people romanticize about trout fishing. I do it every time
I go on the water.

I did not notice any one congratulating you Wiscousinites on the Badger's bowl win. THe QB for the Uof W is a pretty good ball player.
I will admit for the first time I remember I will be pulling for the AZ Cardinals against the Pack this weekend. I have been a Packer fan ever since the Saturday Evening Post had an article about Jim Taylor, back when fullbacks were not just fast guards.
