One more, CA Hyway 18 west out of San Jose at 4:00pm Friday. There is not one square inch of the jersey barrier that doesn't have car paint on it.
Photographic proof at Bixby Bridge on beautiful US 1 at Big Sur. You'll have to accept my word about Aspen to Leadvill and that narrow slippery pass.

I've driven the Tail of the Dragon at night once while it was raining, many years ago. I will alway remember that drive!
I think the Apache Trail east of Phoenix deserves honorable mention...
Lookout Pass between Missoula and Coeur d'Alene was really hairy driving during the winter back when it was two-lane. Put a little ice on that puppy, and it would take a crowbar to break suction. I always hated that section...
I-80 between Rawlins and Laramie and between Laramie and Cheyenne during the winter, 40 plus mph crosswinds, zero visibility, snow, ice, black ice, etc., etc., is the norm even on a good day! And there is always someone who insists on going faster than everyone else. If you have ever driven this in the winter, you know what I mean.
Marco, LOVE the hat!!!!
The older I get the more chicken I get. I used to consider winter driving, most of it in Michigan and then 17 years high in the mountains of Montana, a semi-controlled skid. And I was kewl with that. No more. It takes far less to slap my hip pockets together anymore. Even hydro-planeing in a driving rain in Seattle 'Friday afternoon Flee' traffic will do it. Every time. :)
I can tell you what slaps my hip pockets together and that would be any central valley California highway in the fog!
Any road through East St. Louis.
