I second that. I'm just putting the finishing touches on a 3 weight I built off one of his blanks. Very nice. I will be contacting him soon for a blank for my next project - an 8.5' steelhead rod.

I didn't know that there were so many places for Blanks. I guess my next step is to narrow down my choice as to what i want in a Blank.

Ray, don't know if you have firsthand experience with that e-bay guy, but I think he is the one I have heard some bad stuff about. I just searched for bobo and it came up with some interesting posts.
I did some research and the findings were not that good. However he states that he had problems in the beginning, maybe that's what everyone was reacting to? Think I'll hold off on this one, I'm not starting my build until the dreaded Ohio winter sets in. Plus I need to find just that special reel seat. Then there's that custom cork thing, have to see if Joe has a lathe and some time? I have it narrowed down to a "Kusse", if available. If not than an "Elkhorn" would be my next go to.
Kusse does sell blanks, I'd give him a call!
Send me a private im and I will let you know what rod blanks to look for.
Also how to contact them.
There are many, many great blanks out there and a few junk ones to.
