Eric,
What can I say that hasn't been already said....but hey that's what friends do....say it and say it again in order to boost your spirts higher and keep them there.
Good luck on attaining your goals...and thanks for sharing the great news.
Jim
Nice one Eric, that is realy good news, now all you need is some plastic Down pipe to strap to the frame and you can safely carry your fly rod on the bike.
All the best.
Mike
What great news! I'm thrilled for you both. Congratulations on doing so well as it's not easy to make such a change in lifestyle. Well done.

Good on ya, kids. Keep it up. You'll never be sorry you dumped the baggage and the 'baccy'.
Thank you all for the support and encouragement! Last night I was so happy with what I have done and with my Pittsburgh Penguins advancing to the next round of the playoffs, sorry Senators fans, that I over celebrated.:( Ate too much, woke up this morning with a belly ache the likes of which I haven't had since I was a kid and had to call off work. Glad I didn't have to take my blood sugar reading this morning. Why was I such a bad boy?! http://bestsmileys.com/nono/4.gif
Eric,
Great news indeed (on the weight loss and control of your glucose levels)! Thanks for the update. There have been a number of here who were praying and pulling for you.
It's OK to be a "bad boy" once in a while, just don't do it every day. I'm sure even your doctor will say it's OK to splurge once in a while (mine did).
Think of how good you feel now and how bad you felt 30 lbs and a few packs of cigarettes ago. Vow to never feel that bad again! You CAN do it.
Way to go!!!
Jeff
way to go, stories like yours truly inspire. Im now thinking of some new wheels
