I think we might need to rephrase the question as to what Scotch and cigar you take.
Some single malt - Glenmorangie and a Jose Padron Anniversary 1964.
I would like to fish with this group!

While fishing the only thing I carry is 3 oz of Knob Creek or Woodford Reserve, (my traveling hooch) or a good Laphroaig or Pappy Van Winkle; and to munch on while trying to figure out what fly to try next: a Padron, Ashton or Partagas.
Back at the car are Lance crackers and beer...
...just in case.
Having been a "dry" guy for years and years now I guess my beverage of choice has gotten narrowed down to ice cold Diet Pepsi and the same in a Diet Mt. Dew. Snax are anything that can be gobbled between fish. No cigar for me either but when the first fish is to hand the wrapper comes off of the Panda Black Licorice bar. That's my celebratory libation. Food can wait while the fishing is happening. Cheers and Fish on!

I fish, therefore I swam.
I don't like to stop fishing to eat but occasionally my feet will get too cold to stand in the water anymore and I get out and snack on some dried pineapple. I usually also take some jalepeno hot salsa sunflower seeds to eat on while I fish.

Grab and go! I don't get out as much as I'd like to and am rather excitable when I do find that kind of time, so when I have time to fish long enough to need a snack, I take whatever's quick. A peanut butter and jelly sandwich is about as involved as I can handle, but my staples are granola bars, apples, and graham crackers.
Sometimes I forget and find myself salivating and wondering if the powerbait someone before me left behind is edible. I haven't given in to that yet though.
2 or 3 newfie steak sandwiches(balonga)smothered in mustard.
pack of granola bars
3 or 4 gatorade or flavoured water, packin' through the brush is not easy work http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/smile.gif
The last couple of times that I've gone for the day I have taken a couple of grilled pork chops and a banana along with a coke and some bottled water. I usually have some jerky, trail mix, and maybe a power bar or two in my duffle bag.

Ah, stream side lunch. Never had one. Just a granola bar and fruitleather. Great stuff that fruitleather. Water to wash it down with. One time I brought a PBJ sandwich. sticky mess.

Slim Jims & Jerky!!
I'm usualy not far from camp or Jeep so haven't given it much thought. But, next year I plan to do a lot more traveling than I did this year. More day trips, etc. and will have to give "Snacks" more thought. Also on a reduced sugar and salt diet so maybe some ArchWay sugarless cookies and bottled water.
