Thanks for saying it.
I just can't understand how someone could let their weight get so out of control. A few pounds ok, it's the holidays. 20 or 30, Ok you need to make some changes. But over 50 pounds and thats a problem. You can't move as well, you can sleep as well, you can't do anything as well. You need that starbucks just to get up the stairs. Then the caffinee wears off and you just sit there watching TV and eating prepackaged high calorie low nutrient food.
I commend people that finally see what if happening and make a change. But too many people don't. Moderation is key, you need variety and a diet rich in colors. But the occational splurge is fine, even while trying to loose weight. No one is perfect, and if a bigmac gives you the extra push to keep yourself going then do it, just not every day.
Chris, you will change. Your body will. Just remember your feelings now when you are older.
As you can tell my feelings for this subject run deep. But in the end everyone is responsible for their own actions. That includes what they put in their bodies. It isn't just food, but chemicals, too. It's all about education and maybe telling a friend when you see them doing something that is slowly killing them. Oh and im fit at 5'9" 175.
