Can't speak for the others but unless I'm tying flies with big, glossy thread heads straight Sally is too thick for me. I have 2 bottles like Ralph - pour some in and then add acetone for the consistency I like (I'd say a 60/40 mix but it's pretty much by eyeball).

Thanks for the info!
I've lost too many friends and family to bone cancer. I use water soluble head cement. Head cements which use toluene or acetone are only used of doors.

I've often wondered about manicurists - with all that acetone polish remover, I can't imagine there aren't some problems.
