nice fish...that is a grass carp, one of the hardest species to catch on a fly. it is illegal to even target them here in OR and WA, but I caught 15 lb (small for grassers) grass carp in FL last year. they are really spooky and hard to get close to. what fly did you catch him on?
After having 1X snapped like a bannana fresh out of liquid nitrogen I went after them with a stout spinning rod and dough ball.
They do spook easily but they come right back to where they were pretty quickly. I just put my dough ball about 6" under the surface where they were feeding.
I use an 8' 6wt glass (McFarland of course) rod with 6lb P-Line flouro, and for flies: Bead Head Prince Nymph, Haresear with rubber leggs, or Bead Head Pheasant tail, on intermediate line.

As John said they are grassers and very nice ones too. They are usually stocked to keep the vegitation down in a waterway. Congratulations on your capture(s).
