Roger, as, always, very enjoyable. There is,indeed something about the Shining Mountains that calls to the soul.

I just was visiting Glacier on last Wednesday / Thursday for the first time. How do even explain that area to people here in the Midwest state of Michigan. I wonder if the Bighorn Sheep I saw next to the Logan pass parking lot was the same one? I wish I had your creativity to describe the things I experience in words as Roger does. I am already looking forward to the day I can return to Glacier Park and Fish.

You folks are the kindest in the world. Thank you. That's me, on Cutbank Creek, somewhere upper, middle, lower, I don't remember. http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/smile.gif
Betty, I don't know about this spring, I've got a lot on my plate, but let's put in on the burner and see if it steams, then we'll come back to it later!

Thank you very much for the visit back to Glacier. We were there three years ago at the end of June and got caught in a small blizzard. Camped at Many Glaciers campground and drove across the Going to The Sun Road twice because you just can't take it all in and drive at the same time. The road had only been open two weeks and there were 15 and 20 foot drifts at Logans Pass. We are planing to go back next summer and this story about the same places we stood has reenficised that commitment. Again thank you very much, and even here in Iowa you have made me smell the pines and bear grass of those mountains.
Bowmaker, that was exceptionally kind of you to say. The pleasure, then, was all mine! I hope you get to get there again soon...it's remarkable country.

Roger,
Once again a great story and I can't wait for the other parts.
I think that the Bighorn was the tame one they keep on the pass for the tourists.lol
I remember seeing it when we drove through there three years ago. I was paraphrasing you story about the hieghts you were looking down from to my wife and she sure could relate to what you felt. We stopped at one of the turnouts on the top and I got out of the truck and went to take a picture and she had her hand over her eyes blocking the dropoff from her vision, the kids and I got a kick out of that, she wasn't amused.

That sheep was pretty tame! http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/smile.gif
That's a funny one about the heights...I know EXACTLY how she feels. Jeesh, I could get used to it I guess, but it would take a lot of time!
Thanks,
R
