Mine went Friday too.
Open early, open later - doesn't really matter. They're your fingers! Just open with the utmost caution. You might want to have a big net handy. Just sayin!!!
Best regards, Dave S.
Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen please stop by, I have a package that needs to be delivered to a special friend from FAOL.

I'm getting ready to post a report thread for the swap. It is a chance to show off your new FAOL goodies from this year's gift exchange. Check it out and report in if you like. Also, if anyone doesn't receive their package, please contact me.
Also, I think we'll have a "gift idea" thread to help out. Any suggestions or recommendations for next year will be welcome.
Next Year! Good lord I don't buy green bananas and only buy eggs by the half dozen.
I've got my package already addressed and ready to go out tomorrow. :) Unless, I call my boss tomorrow and tell him I'm snowed in and stay home and go sledding with my little boy tomorrow. Then, it'll go out on Tuesday. ;) I trust the receiver won't hold that against me.
Gift posted priority mail today.

Mine is in the mail. :)
Package has been delivered to the post office - no call back from them, so I assume everything is okay so far - did't hear any weird noises coming from their back room! Okay, time for me to confess - I got good news and bad news, and depending on your situation, you could easily switch the good with the bad. First the bad(?) news. The original occupant of said package has made good its escape! I know! I know! I feel your collective disappointment! Don't know how, nor do I wanna. I'm pretty sure the dogs had something to do with it because the last time I saw the critter, the dogs were hot on its tail, headed for the fence! For those who like a little excitement with their Christmas gifts, sorry! The critter probably would have gotten away in transit anyway. The truck driver has missed out on some fun though! The good(?) news is that I was able to find some (boring) stuff to send in the critters place. HO HUM!! Hey, I tried, but you know what they say about best laid plans of mice and men! THERE'S ALWAYS NEXT YEAR! Note to self: get more secure packaging next year from animal control officer!!! Whoa! Did I type that last sentence out loud?
Best regards, Dave the TOP SECRET Santa
