We headed to fla and on the way picked up a Temple fork 3wt with a drake reel. We hit a state park on the east coast, rented a conoe and had a ball. No bass but alot of gills.
Love that warm water fishing

I bet that Florida water was a whole lot warmer (and softer) than that New York water you left behind. http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/smile.gif 8T

You had better learn to be a happy camper. You only get one try at this campground and it's a real short camping season.

old geezer,
warm water fishing is great i like it alot. and it's very fun to to fish from a flat bottom boat that me and my dad built and catch them gills. its great just to be livin in southern illnois and have great weather. but now its to cold to fish but we still try.
thanks,

Fisherkid, I enjoyed the Joliet area, fishing the old strip mines. It was Bulow State Park I believe. I'm in South Beach visiting my siter at the moment and I have had a few mild libations tonight. My mind is abit foggggyyyy http://www.flyanglersonline.com/bb/smile.gif
My pond is frozen over in Bliss and I am thrilled to have WW to chase those Gills. Went to Bass pro today new line on the old 3 wt and picked up some #12 poppers for the next sojourn.
