It seems I'm having a difficult time finding any fly shops in my area that have swiss straw. Does anyone know a good place to get it? Would a craft store carry it or is there a suitable replacement for making wingcases on say a size 12 nymph?

For Swiss Straw - Check the handles on any gift bags you have tucked away in your closets; from birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries, etc. Sometimes they'll have paper handles but once in a while you'll find one made from plastic.
