What is this?
I received about a dozen of these in a grab bag (In the mail) from a well known fly shop and have NO IDEA, what they are.
Made out of aluminum, 1/4? diameter, 3/8? tall.
If anyone knows what they are and how they are used, DO TELL!

Pics of one in use would be cool.
Thanks in advance,

I'm not sure...are they a special beadhead, with cutouts on the sides to insert eyes?
-
No idea, but I would check with the shop if they are open. Curious...
-
Unsure of what size they are, but look similar to saltwater trolling lure heads that make bubbles & wakes like fishskulls heads for fly tying.
-
As far as I can tell they are plastic baitfish heads.

They come in sizes from small minnow-sculpin up to bass size, etc. They sell them in lead and plastic.

One brand is known as 'Fish Skull'. Used for streamers. (oops just noticed the post above said the same thing.)
-
Go to flymen fishing company and you can see tutorials on how to use.

Thanks all.
Heads for big baitfish or streamer fly’s. Cut outs for eyes,
Might try to tie a few, Mabee a surf perch fly or two.
Feel free to suggest a few options.

Those are whamigotya hollowouts. Popular in most circles.
