Almost a hundred views and no one knows about Uncle Jessie. I hope he's out west somewhere fishing every day.
Jesse was last signed in here in mid May of this year. While he hasn't spent much time here recently, he can be found frequently on another fly fishing site discussing politics and off topic events.
I've been in touch with Jesse about a month ago on an unrelated subject. That said, I will try to contact him to make sure that everything is still okay.

Thanks Betty and Jim.
All is good, got to where I was half blind due to missing a couple of annual visit to the optometrist and got cataracts pretty bad in my right eye. Had that taken care of last week, doing the left eye next week. As someone said after 60 it's patch, patch, patch.
Glad to see your name back on the board, Jesse. Hang in there and the best of health to you.
George
Thanks for the well wishes, it seems the doctors are not going to let me die from anything I enjoy. I twisted my knee in the first game practice of football my senior year (Aug. 1963) Never had it fixed, probably injured it again final PT test of basic, it came out of joint doing the "Run, Dodge & Jump" the kid 25 yard back told me he heard it pop. Finally went to an orthopedic who x-rayed it and told me I had a torn ACL; 10 years later got a MRI and was told I had a torn ACL & MCL. Stood up to leave was dizzy, the Ortho sent me to my family doctor, who sent me to a cardio, who said I was fine, the BP medicine I take can make you dizzy when you stand up. I'm so well cared for I can hardly stand it.
Glad to hear you're back Jesse. Hope your eye surgery goes well. Sorry I misspelled your name, I knew it was wrong but didn't know how to correct it. Regards, Pat
Oldster, I am honestly looking forward to it. The improvement in my vision after the first eye has been so great, everything was fuzzy and I have learned the colors were muted. It has made me very appreciative of good vision, modern medicine is so good many of us probably tend to take it for granted.
Betty is correct that I spend time on another board, actually a couple of others, but my vision had gotten so bad I had quit going on any of the boards where I am a member.
