Black hooks???

What are the advantages/disadvantages of a black hook? I'm referring more to streamer/saltwater patterns...

You know of a company that makes saltwater-proof black hooks? I do not, and that is probably the only real disadvantage.

Aesthetics...personal preference. Advantage?.....you get what you want. Disadvantage?....they may cost you a bit more.

You should check out the Daiichi 3111. It's super mean.

Interesting but in both cases those are black finished hooks, just more resistant than normal bronze, a little less than tinned is my understanding. Neither are listed as stainless steel, so one has to wonder at least. Good looking hooks, regardless.
