New Years' visitor

Not the best pic, but I was only able to get off one shot before it jumped. We've had Red Shoulders in the neighborhood for years but they've been rare in our backyard; Coopers and Sharp Shins are much more common. A minute after I took the photo, there was a Sapsucker at the suet feeder for the first time - 2015 is off to a flying start.
Happy New Year,
Scott

Any pic that you can get is a good one. Had the great fortune to get a sharp shined to land on the back of a chair under the cover of our back deck and stay long enough to get a pic of it. That was about 10 years ago.

Nice pic and a good way to start off the new year!

Never seen or heard of one before. Thank you for the education with picture. I must have lived a sheltered life in my younger days...LOL.
