A few (only a few because the balky battery returned) pics from the other end of the state.
Decided to drive up to Logan Pass and walk around even though most of the trails were still closed due to snow

Hiked about a mile of the Hidden Lake trail which was 50% snow covered and got a few good looks at a grizz from about 1000 yards; slip/slid the whole way back down, even with decent footware. Back in town discovered the knee wouldn't straighten out any more; all signs point to torn meniscus. MRI (which I slept through) last night, surgical consult on Monday. This is gonna screw up some of my fishing plans (just say "No" to the Big Hole and Madison, "Yes" to tailwaters and a few other flooded parking lots I know of) but I should be good for hiking the PNW, Yosemite, Rim-to-Rim come late Sep.
Regards,
Scott
