Looked at the weather map anx think that warmwater is not around anyplace.
It is 10 degrees here with a 20 mph wind.
My wife thinks I have the shack nasties.
Don't think that is possible.

Shack-Nasties are running rampant here. No warmwater in sight. Our temperature has been stuck in the high 20's so long I'm beginning to feel like a frozen fish stick. I've been taking extra Vitamin D to ward of the effects of Solar Deprivation Syndrome.
We have plenty out here in sunny California. It might hit 70 degrees today in Sacramento, but we are in a serious drought.
Don't look to the East coast for warmth. Here in Atlanta we're in our fourth day in a row of morning temperatures in the mid to low teens with a high in the 30s. There's a skim of ice around the edges the lake I live on and although today's not too bad, the winds been blowing as well just to add to the chill factor. The good news is that in 45 days or so, the weather should be beautiful and the fish biting like crazy. Yipee!!!

Jim, Remember it's good for the peaches. Which means we should have a killer crop this year. But, this is the first time it's been this cold in I don't remember the last time. This too will pass and spring is just around the corner.
Oh yeah, a bumper crop of peaches would be nice! Got a nice peach-growing community about an hour away from me.
T'aint no warm water here in Okieland. I should be chasing Trout in my home lake. However, whenever I get the opportunity, it seems like that lake has enough skim ice on it to keep everyone from fishing.
No shack-nasties here. I'm having fun tying stuff!
Got out this afternoon. Saw a few bass, but no takes...
We keep getting a roller coaster of temps..... there is ice on the lakes and ponds, but it isn't safe to be out on. Shack nasties indeed!
been nice and wasrm here but all the water has salt in it
Went perch fishing yesterday. Drilled through about 10 inches of hard water and used garden hackle for the bait. Beats sitting around waiting for the thaw. Plus them perch are right good eating.
