Ten Mile River in CT/NY
Is anyone familiar with the Ten Mile River in CT/NY? It's a tributary to the Housatonic that merges in the Bull's Bridge area in Kent. I am heading home to CT for opening day next month. I am trying to scout a few new areas for my brother and I to fish after a day of confidence building on the freshly stocked rainbows in some other rivers. I can't seem to find much info on the trout fishing in that stream. It seems like an interesting place to do pursue some wild fish.

You have an e-mail sent your way.

try [url=http://www.anglers-den.com.:7187e]www.anglers-den.com.[/url:7187e] this is the site for a fly shop in the area you are speaking about. i drive 100 miles round trip to visit them and pass 3 or 4 shops along the way. they have a great inventory and knowledge of the area and an even greater attitude about how to treat a customer. their e mail address is listed on their site as well as tying class schedules and sale items.
good luck fishing and god bless you and the rest of the military family

Thank You. I am somewhat familiar with Angler's Den. I think my brother bought his first fly rod up there.

I too would be interested in this area. Our local TU chapter recently had a speaker who described fishing the Hoosie in the area from the covered bridge down to Ten mile river, but did not talk about the river itself.
