Storm Check In
OK gang, people are already asking me if I'm OK. I am. My family is OK. My truck was full of hail, but the windows are OK. House appears to be ok. Everybody else in the storm zones is invited to check in as well.
LadyFisher, maybe we should start an area just for checking in after storms, earthquakes, elections, and other disasters.

Ed,
Really glad to hear you all are OK! I am still watching this on the Weather Channel and I feel where I am, that we are finally about out of this. Thanks goes to God and may He watch over all others and be with those who have lost loved ones due to the tornados.
Please, folks, report in. I, for one, would like to know that you all are OK. Jesse, how about you?
Please report as soon as you all can.....

We are good, no bad weather yet.
I thought about Ed when I heard the Opryland Hotel was hit. We haven't heard from him lately but Elhead is down in Muscle Shoals are, did they get hit, I heard Athen / Huntsville got some ill wind.

Good here, only a 1/2 hour of heavy rain.

The night is young, I just got blasted out of my chair with a tornado WARNING good for the next hour.
The WARNING has past, the storm went north of us but I have a lot of friends that were in the path on the other side of the county.

To all in the storm area, please check in, our prayers are with you all.
-
Prayers go out to all those in harms way.

The Athens/Huntsville area did take a hard hit again. Some of the same area's that got hit last April were hit again. Thankfully there were no death's this time.

Back in the '80's I remember the property insurance company I worked for buying new roof coverings for Martin Stove in Athens very often, it seems like it was consecutive years for a while.

We got passed the storms ok. Hope everyone else did.
