Hi,
Tied my long-time producer soft hackle using SLF dubbing. Normally, I use my own blend of Dazzleaire material.

I've got to tie some of those. Most excellent. To swing, swing, swing, yeah!
Kelly.
Byron,
Very, very nice wee wet fly. Do you tie it on a light wire hook? It's a deadly looking dressing.
Kelly,
If your swinging the wee wets, your missing part of the fun of fishing them. Try an upstream cast to rising fish. It's a wonderful way to fish. With all my wet flies (and that's most of my fly boxes) I start with an upstream cast. Without weight on the hook or leader, they will fish near the surface. As the fly starts to drift close to me I switch to a high stick nymphing sort of technique, then, as the fly drifts past me, I fish it on the swing. I can cover a lot of water with one cast and the fly is in the water a lot longer. Just a suggestion.

Thanks for the suggestion. I usually fish it in the across and down method. I mend as it first hits the water to have it in the film and then let the current and bend to fish it on the swing as a rising emerger. However, if I see a rise, I false cast to dry it and then offer it as a cripple just as you would a dry fly
I use a dry fly hook
What size hook is that?
Don, it is size 14
Nice fly Byron. Can you post the recipe? The colors aren't always correct on my computer screen. I know I can change colors to fit the bugs in my stream, but I'd like to know what is pictured.
Thanks,
Bruce
Really nice!!
Very nice flies!
