Way to go Kevin. You do great work and should be very proud as are all of us.
Kevin,
As a Veteran,I thank you Sir.Sometimes I need to hear of good deeds.Ray
You are more than welcome, Ray. It is I who should be thanking you.
Did anyone notice that the Denver Post linked to FAOL in the story? I think that is pretty cool, too. This whole story is Jesse's fault. :) He contacted the Denver Post and generated the interest for it and I can't thank him enough.
If there were no story to be told the Denver Post would not have been interested. I am only guilty of recognizing that a pretty nice guy was doing something a little special and different than any of his peers, that I am aware of was doing. I did explain that I only know Kevin via FAOL and how it is a collection of some pretty nice people.
We appreciate the "mention" too, you just never know *S*
I just saw this article, and came over here to let you all know about it. Uncle Jesse beat me to it! (I suppose he might have known it was coming out ahead of time ;) ) Nice job giving kudos where they are deserved Jesse!
Congrats on the article Kevin!!! I hope your work inspires others, and thank you for honoring our vets! You and I still need to get over to the S. Platte below Chatty (or anywhere else) sometime and fish together!
Scott actually did a little 5 minute phone interview and I tried to tell him about the FAOL family and worldwide friendships that exist mostly with people you will never see. I have attempted to educate a couple of other groups that print articles about Mr. Proctor's special rods, we will just have to wait and see if they take the bait. Kind of like fishing.
