Hunting grizzlies with a switch!
That had ta been a hoot.
Automatic reel, too? That is so cool. Icing on the cake would have been to catch it on a McGinty you got in a bubble pack from K-Mart. I have a Fenwick 7 1/2' 6wt laying around somewhere; may have to break it out.
Regards,
Scott
Look at Bill's reel again, it's a lever action, I think he must have been a Chuck Connors (The Rifleman) fan. Good job there Bill, know that was fun, I ran into a 7+ grass carp with a 3 wt. switch a few years back keeps you entertained for several minutes. My best friend's son is moving to Brooklyn in July, if I can ever find a reason to come visit him I'm going to have to look you up.
The reel is the ATP 37 graphite. it is NOT an automatic. It is a semi automatic fly reel. No big spring inside. This reel has an adjustable drag, removable spool. The rod is the fenwick"535" ( 5'3", 2pc).
Chuck Conners, ROFLOL!
