When I was a kid we used to fish a lake up near the Canadian border every year. One year the only trout we could catch were 6 inchers (all planted). My father kept some of them and fried them in deep fat until they were totally cooked, bones and all, then he put then in the ice chest. When cold they were great with beer.

Larry, unfortunately I had to settle for a Dr. Pepper. But they were dang good! I've gotta go back saturday and see if I can find some more.
I've been using bait and ice jigs the past few months, and have caught a lot of fish that baaaarely hit it. It was great to see these guys come up 3 and 4 feet and absolutely thump a plastic!
makes me want to quit my diet.
