A beautiful October day on the South Holston River

My good friend Dave Male and I met up in Elizabethton yesterday morning to enjoy another
great day on the South Holston River. A little breezy but Dave's rods handled that without a hitch!

All in all a day to remember. Can't wait to get back up there!
Only saw one other fisherman all day.

Beautiful pictures! Seems like a great day to be on the water.

All the years I spent in NC, and I never made it to that river. Guess I was too concerned with jumping out of airplanes and stuff. Beautiful country and water.
