Home made tools/jigs
Iaflyfishers dubbing rake photo sequence got me wondering what else everyone has made their own version of for a tool, jig or something related to fly tying/fishing. Since most are likely tying related I thought this section would be the most appropriate for this thread.
ALL I ASK IS THIS
- Please just post a single pic of your version for each item as I did below (not the complete fabrication sequence) .
- If someone wants details on how something was made, PM that member and ask for a separate thread.
- Please don't post with comments on someone else's post. I'm just looking for a thread full of home made pics not a discussion on any of the items posted. Something worth archiving perhaps???
-If you can't read and respect this request, I'll ask for your post to be deleted. Lets keep this thread on track and 'sticky worthy'!
Here are a few of mine.

I'll add a couple to the list
First is a dubbing brush picker. I found that I consistently used one of three tools, a 22 cal bore brush, a piece of Velcro, or a dubbing needle. I also found that I could also lose any/all of them equally well on my tying desk. Therefor that the natural next step was to create an all-in-one tool that I could find at least a bit easier. On one end, there is a removable 22 cal bore brush, and on the other end is two different types of Velcro, regualr duty and industrial duty as well as a dubbing needle on the end.

The is also my powered dubbing brush twister

and than a small on-bench tool caddy that has a pull-out bowl for when I'm working with beads or dumbell eyes and a "tower" on the end where I store my Nor-Vise automatic bobbins.

Hi Bass Bug,
It seems like there was a post on making the bugger beast, but I have not been able to find it. Do you know where I can find it?
Thanks and regards,
Gandolf

Mr. Smith is clearly more of a craftsman than I put here are a few of the things I have been guilt on using from time to time. The orange circles came off roofing nails, make pretty good hackle guards, [add a slit], bobbin thread stainless wire into a piece of plastic, thread/dubbing twisters, the pen also works well as a half hitch tool.

Here's the worlds best hair packer. I had to show two pics since the hook range would be unbelievable otherwise. Large bass hooks to a TMC 518 size 32.
