painting popper bodies
i was watching the following video and noticed the tyer using a "copic airbrush" system to paint his popper body

heres what he was using

That air brush looks fantistic. I use the standard air brush with paints and it can be a real pain at times. I may have to look into getting one of these.

Normand,
Played around with what was probably the precursor to that system back in the mid 90s. Worked fine...(only problem was that the 'markers' tended to dry out between uses unless you used them every day or two..hopefully they've fixed that)
Then I was given a 'real' dual action airbrush. Like that much better as far as results go. With a bit of practice you can do some amazing things with a good airbrush.
But I seldom use it anymore for most poppers...I can get a nice look with just regular 'permanent' markers and playng around with the finishes on foam...and the fish certainly don't seem to care.
When I do balsa, though, I do break out the airbrush...the wood baits seem more 'permanent' to me and thus more worthy of finer 'artwork'.

Cool, I didn't know this thing existed.
