its can also be said the same when your 15 pound wheenie dog or 12 pound cat decide to do the same thing. :p
What about your 5 year old son? But that is getting rare these days, so my tying will just have to suffer.:D
O.K. a real one. If you don't have the right color of chenille or want an extra fuzzy one you can chop up some marabou and put it in a dubbing loop to make your own. For a thicker chenille make the loop longer and double it over before twisting the two halves together.
Never leave a 90% completed Salmon fly in the vise and walk away for 5 minutes. The reason is I have a fly munching cat that waits until the wings are on. Secondly must play with the dog first before sitting down to tye or she will bother you with toys and balls while tying.
Jim you really need to tey tying with an 89 pound Lab trying to sit on you lap
Or...
Skip chennile altogether on buggers...tie the marabou in for the tail, but don't trim the marabou....just twist the feather into a 'rope' and wrap that as the body (you do need to use a good long marabou feather for this to work). Looks great, fishes great, faster....
Buddy
Hey Buddy,
Neat idea. I'm going to try that after I walk the dog...no wait take out the garbage first, then feed the cat, read that Peek-a Boo book for the thousandth time to my one year old, the get humilated by a 6 year old playing wii bowling then and only then to sit down and start tying....oh mud ....the dog:lol:
I have a black lab that sits at my feet whenever I tie. He is either anxiously
waiting for me to drop something ( he really likes jungle cock necks) or he positions himself so I can't move the chair to get up without moving him & then it's walk time. Who ever called them dumb animals never shared a house with a dog.
