I'm thinking about getting one of these in a 5 wt for nymph and general purpose fishing. I haven't decided on the 8.5 or 9 ft model. Has anyone tried them? Are there any models in the series that stand out as particularly good or bad?

I have an FSF in a 3 wt that I love. Though on the Truckee this time of year I most often carry a 5 wt. that little 3 is great for fishing dries on the bank and for the little streams and stocker ponds.

OOOPs, I thought we were talking about "Classic" meaning built by Redington before they were bought by Sage, hence the FSF comment. Not realizing that Redington now has a "Classic" series of fly rods. My mistake.
