fall steelhead!

so far I have got into 4 steelies since starting this fall. been at it 3 weeks or so but 1 of the weeks was flooded out. got 1 on a clouser minnow in olive/pink/white and the rest on black wooley buggers. here is a few pix of the fish!! enjoy! caught the one in the last 2 pix, the I am holding today on just 4lb test! usually use 8lb but water was so clear a member of my forum i was fishing with recommended it. I thought a steelie would make short work of 4lb test so i was hesitent but I guess I was wrong cause I got it in just as easy as when i fish 8lb? it was some 4lb trilene flourocarbon tippet.

nice fish and pictures, fishaholic. you make me anxious to get up to erie and fish the mile creeks. we need some water in pa to get the fish moving into the tribs. congratulations.

ya waters are very very low here also. got to fish closer to the mouth to even get into the fish. got 3 of these in slow deep holes stripping buggers. 1st catch was in a moderate depth flow not as deep and slow as the rest. got that one on a clouser tho. keep ya posted if I catch any more
