Got my new Cabela's Three Forks 3wt Wednesday. Here are the results.

Congratulations! That outfit should bring you a lot of pleasure. I love light rods and with proper handling you can land some surprising large fish.

There's a good number of bluegills and green sunfish where they stock trout there in Wichita... perfect spot for that 3-wt!
Maybe we can get together some time and I'll show you that 3-wt's 5-wt look-alike brother. Haha

Cool! Fishing for bluegills with a 3 weight is great. It doesn't get much better.

Now that's a good time there! I just got back from a week of trout fishing last night and I'm already hankering for a run out to the bluegill pond to let the little guys know I haven't forgotten them :lol:

I gotta tell ya' - I have a 6 wt and a 3 wt 3 Forks that ride around in my truck as long as there is open water. I've got "better" rods but I'm not sure there's more
"bang for the buck" than that series. I'm seriously thinking about buying *at least* one more 3 just to put away. Everytime I find something I like - they quit making it. ;)
