Tell me which one of my flies looks like his. I didn't even know what a Headstand Carp fly was until somebody asked me about it when I posted the first carp flies. I said no, and looked it up. I did not use any fly on the roughfisher site for my Headstand fly. (I do not see any peacock swords on their flies...as I look it up now...for their Headstand flies) Besides I do not see one that comes close to matching this fly. I do not think JP, if that is your friend used raccoon tail and peacock pheasant fibers for the shell casing..per the top fly pic. Carp flies are similar, and my top fly is similar to a friend's fly. I am sure it influenced this fly, but in no way is it a copy. :shock:
