WTB: Starter Float Tube
Looking for a U shaped tube nothing fancy. I don't see myself using it more than 4-5 times a year, as long as it doesn't leak and has a little bit of storage it will work. Money is tight but I am doing my best to scrape some together..
pm me witha a price if you have anything that might fit the description.
Thanks,
Janus

Janus, There's lots of low priced u-tubes out there...new...check out the various Caddis models

Thanks I will. I know nothing about them really just seeing those too far spots in the small lakes I fish got me thinking.

The opportunites on E-Bay and Craigslist, just be careful with what you buy. Bass Pro has a good line of tubes available.
You might want to check with local shops, TU chapter, etc., to see if there's a "local one owner" tube out there where someone upgraded.
-
You might also want to check out Sierra Trading post as they often have some excellent buys on fly fishing equipment and currently have three float tubes listed on sale. http://www.sierratradingpost.com/sea...criptions=True
Just a thought...

Thanks for the suggestions. Does anyone have any experience with the Creek Company Origina U-boat? I have a guy here in town with one still in the box that he will sell me for $65. Which seems like a good price.
This is it:

I think that's the "in store" brand for Bass Pro. I have a friend who has one with no complaints.

U shaped tube, what a great idea.
Now I can finely get my favorite 8'-6" 2 piece into my 30" gear bag.
Thanks.
