Had 97,106 miles on the old clunker. They said "productions problems" with the 1995-2000 Tacoma's cause rust problems in the frames and mine was apparently a bad one. Got a new one with all the bells and whistles for under $12,000! Finally, for once, fell into the proverbial barrel of poo and came out smelling like a rose. If anyone has a Tacoma in the bad year range need to have it checked ASAP. Service tech told me they were afraid to put one up on a lift and the owner was really pissed till they tapped his frame with a ballpeen hammer and it went right through it like it was glass!!!
