Al's cancer is all over his lungs, liver, esophagus, stomach, etc. They're starting
radiation and chemo, but they told him he's stage 4 and inoperable.

My Brother in Law left this planet on Memorial Day Morning......same thing.
He suffered for two months, hopefully Allen doesn't have to go through that.
Prayers!
i'm sorry to hear about his medical condition but who is allen crise??
Allen is a FFF Master Casting Instructor and is pretty well known in N. Texas. He has been a long time member of the Fort Worth Fly Fishers and has always offered casting help to members when asked (usually free), just a really great guy.

Allen has been added to our prayers here.
That sucks.
I've seen too many friends go out in a similar fashion.
The only good thing that can be said is that if you do get advance notice that your time is about up, you get to say your goodbyes. Beyond that it all sucks.
Then again my aunt has survived several years with advance bone cancer, beyond what life expectancy was given her. The treatments can work on some.
My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

Oh man, that SUCKS! :( He is a great guy, analogous to what JC was here.
I met Ol' Al at a Ft. Worth Fly Fishers meeting once at a park in downtown Ft. Worth. They were doing casting lessons and general casting technique, and Al was donating his time and helping out as many as he could. Al gives a lot of his time to that club and N. Texas in general. He gave me loads of advise of where to fish the Paluxy River through his home town of Glen Rose, TX. I think the only reason we caught fish down there was due to his advice. I'll be praying for him!!!
