Hi all,
I have an old rod that I pretty much love and use 90% of the time. It has a cork grip which has become slippery due to dirt.
I feel it's affecting my casting.
What's the best way to clean it?
Thx
Dave.

Using the search function here I found several threads about this. Here is one of many.

Mild solution of dish soap and water with a couple of washings and then a good rinse usually does it for me.

I'm a fan of the soft scrub with bleach cleaning method. Does a great job. The cork looks almost new.
I agree with Joe, soft scrub with bleach & I use a green 3M pad, rinse well and let dry, Looks like new!
