Donald,
Thank you, my friend. I had not seen Brook and River Trouting before. Very nice. Another to add to the rapidly growing collection. I may need a couple more boxes just to hold my spiders and other North Country wets.
REE
Dont worry Ree. The spiders you tied in Albany wont take up much room. Im gonna try some out this weekend, will let you know how they did
Thanks Donald! I was going to look to see if that were available after I finished reading the book I'm into now. You've saved me the trouble and it's now in the line up.

Hi,
Well, while we're on the subject, here are links to Skue's books as well.

The way of a trout with a fly and some further studies in minor tactics (1921)

Also, here's a link to a book I'm currently reading:

What a great archive site!

Fatman
Wow thanks for the links guys. Those look interesting.
Strange. I was not able to open the PDF version of that last link you provided Jeff.
Now I just need to find more of that time thing to read these.
That book "The way of a Trout with a fly" is almost 300 pages!
Hi tlerm,
That's weird? I just tried it and it opened fine (I've saved a copy before, so this time I opened it over the net). Did you choose the save option first, then open the copy from your hard-drive? or open it over the net (much slower). Could be it got corrupted in transfer, and you may just want to try again.

I was just informed of a reissue of this fine book in paperback and leather bound. http://www.ffcl.com/product.php/341/...thcoming-title
Ron,
I have a copy already, I bought it a few years ago, but I still downloaded a copy
from the archive. I can read it better as an e-book. The materials and flies can
be blown up for better viewing. I have copied all of them.
The modern editions are a bit pricey. Your best option is to to do what someone did with the Pritt book, take a CD and get it printed and ring-bound.
