Didn't watch the file cabinet one but I'd make sure it doesn't have paint on it.
I'm in the process of putting together a large smoker for the property that we camp on.
I'm using stone and salvaged cinder blocks from an old foundation on site
There'll be two sections
One side will contain the thigh high (or so) firebox and that will connect side by side to the much taller 'meat closet'.
Above the firebox will be a platform for dutch oven cooking.
I'd like to be done by the first scheduled campout, my sister's birthday in late April. But I'll be happy to be finished by Labor Day. ;)
I also have to reline the ancient dug well
