I still can't say that one is 'bette'r than the other; cane, graphite or glass. They are all different and somehow we each seem to have a certain method of casting/fishing which one of them will suit more.

Hey Lotech: your rod reminds me of my 7 1/2', 4 wt that I built in the 70's. The fiberglass rod blank was bought from J Kennedy Fisher and i still use it today. Nice job

I probably won't be able to post any success pics till next July. I really want to Christen it with a Westslope Cutthroat on the St. Joe in northern Idaho. I'm afraid that next Summer is the best time for that. That's fine with me though, I have plenty of winter sticks to use for a while.
