Will have to watch this completely whenI'm not headed to work. What I did get to see was great!
Hi: I really enjoyed the slide show you put together. It gives me more to dream about. What is a Pine Squirrel Cheater?
Thanks
Hey there John,
Not only a great slideshow of the denizens of the South Fork but also proof that fly fishing/lip hooking is a very humane way of enjoying the sport of fishing.
Your fishing reports, keep em commin.

P.S. There are some additional photos of the PSC posted in the thread on the South Fork of the Snake on the Fishing Reports Forum.
John, I asked this question on under the report section, but it may be more approptiate here.
How do you tie on your dropper fly, esp behind your G. Gnat?
Looks like the tag end of the line tied to the gnat. I have a heck of a time tying tippet to the hook bend of the lead fly.
Your photographs are terrific. btw. I am familier with the forks of the Boise and Payette, and areas around Stanley, but have yet to visit your side of Idaho.

I use a clinch knot to tie the tippet for the trailing fly to the bend of the lead fly hook.
Haven't tried using the tag end of the tippet for the lead fly, nor tying the tippet for the trailing fly to the eye of the lead fly hook, as some folks do.
Occasionally, a fish will not be able to eat the lead fly doing it this way, but not often enough for me to change the way I've done it all along.
