I'm in on the Tadpole rod swap and I'd like to try and do some spigot ferrules. Sounds like most use ice rod blanks. Are there any quality alternatives other than solid glass rods? I'd like to pick up some fiberglass rods (not fishing rods) and shape them myself. I'd be glad to pick up some extra and mail a couple of ~ 4" pieces for those who wanted.
