Some may say jerky with fishing or hunting, bacon & eggs with camping, but for MY money, it's.......
HOT DOGS & a BASEBALL game!!...only thing close is Apple Pie at a family picnic!
What do you folks think?

Brats and beer. That's two things, right?
Pretzels, beer and football.
folks in ohio think its fishing and spam......at least thats what i heard!
A hike into a high altitude lake or stream, a small bank side fire with a smallish cast iron skillet.
Added to the skillet, a little bacon grease, salt, pepper and about 4ea.12" Trout, not out of the water more than 30 minutes before being place into the hot skillet.
Thinly sliced, but with peelings left on, small potatoes, added in and around the cooking Trout.
However, if caught in a "C & R fishing area" and unable to keep and eat the fish, then the perfect backup of course is................ "Oreo Cookies, spread liberally with X-tra sharp-cheddar flavored Cheeze Whiz. In between bites of the cookie/cheeze epicurean delight, a large bite off a super garlic Kosher dill pickle. All, washed down, with a Henry's Special Reserve Root Beer or Creme Soda. Don't get, any better than that! (Unless, of course, you're lucky enough to also have a "Cherry Mountain bar", for dessert!)
Mike,
What's this all about???
