Nylon Tubeing??
I'm interested in buying some nylon (or other material, I'm not really sure?) tubeing with which to cover up my nail knots. Basically the stuff some end of line loops are made of, but hopefully from some other source than those packs of 3 pre-formed loops. Does anyone have a good source of that? Thanks.

If your looking to help secure the knot, I've used heat shrink tubing

shrink tubing
I agree with ohiofly, shrink tubing is cheap and redily available at most hardware stores. Try to get the smallest size that will fit over your line. Just slip it on, heat it up with a lighter, and you're done.

I would prefer the braided nylon stuff if possible.

The Castwell Knot solves the problem and is cheaper too!!

braided tubing
try looking in the tying section of your favorite fly shop.they sell it as body material for damsel and dragon flies.2 feet of it usually runs 2 or 3 bucks.

If you're looking for the stuff to make your own braided leader loops, you're looking for Gudebrod Braided Butt Leader . . . it's difficult to find, but here's a couple of sources:

For braided loops, you probably want 35# for smaller lines, 50# for ~6wt up

try braided backing for a cheaper alternative, the same stuff, but don't know if it comes in different diameters
