They look really (sorry to use this word) cute. They only hold about 30' of line, so you'd be working close up fish. Could be useful with the tiny little rods that you carry for emergency fishing in large puddles or rain barrels?:rolleyes:

If they are still in business after almost thiry years, they must be doing something right.
I see they are in Portland...Perhaps these are made there. That would be great in this age of "made in China" overwhelming the American marketplace. I believe I may try one of their reels this spring on a rod I plan to build for my son-in-law..Thanks for the info,
