Have an Idea - SW Alberta Fish In
This has been rolling around in my head for a while.
Was looking at the "Fish In" page and got to thinking, has there ever been one done in my area SW Alberta Canada, Crowsnest Pass area.
I just moved here and am getting to know the area.
What do you all think ?
Where, when , what, how long, any help, advice and or ideas would be great.
LF and JC, Editor et al, Plse let this run for a while so I can get as much help as possible.
Thanks

You put it together and I will be there.
What you thinking May,July,August?
Re: Have an Idea - SW Alberta Fish In
there is a fish-in in May in Washington, one in September in Idaho, you might want to split the difference, You need a place with good fishing, an area to camp and a reasonable motel etc. Good Luck with it. :D

Re: Have an Idea - SW Alberta Fish In
As one who has visited southern Alberta (Banff and Waterton) on at least a yearly basis for 20+ years (mostly in the summer for a week or two) I'd suggest July as a perfect time. That could coincide with the MI Fish In, but you wouldn't have the same crowd anyway.
I'd sell my blood, plasma, a kidney or just about anything else to make to that. Of course, if my wife says no, then it really doesn't matter what I'd sell!
I'm not really familiar with the Crowsnest area, but it's not far from the famed Bow and its in the heart of the Candian Rockies so it has to be awesome!
One question, what would the fishing liscence options look like? Would the fisihng be in a National Park (need an additional liscence last I checked)?
I'd be all about it!
